I felt a series of emotion when I was listening to these chapters. I hate the church now. The corruption of these churches though! I rushed through these though since I was tired.

Chapter 56

Iris was excommunicated by the church. The church has a large influence in the entire kingdom to be excommunicated is a large issue. Iris was blamed for the destruction of a church. Iris did destroy one but that land was owned by no one and Iris had wanted to rebuild a larger church. No matter how she looked at it. This was only used to fight Iris. Tanya reported that more things that were an issue. The attack and the neighboring fiefs. Kumishi (A territory) was the second prince’s faction. And the neighboring country raised their defenses to Iris’s fief. Not allowing the products pass the fief. Bt to get to the imperial city, they will need to take a long detour around the neighbors. Iris felt weak as each surprise was worse than the next.

Chapter 57

They were unable to find the priest who sold the church. Many workers and customers started to move away from the Azura commerce and sales dropped suddenly. Iris is tired. It even showed in her appearance. Her mother also did not appear to the meetings. It seems like Iris’s body can’t deal with the amount of stress and work but Iris continues without a break.

Chapter 58

Merida declared that she will stay only at Iris’s side and declined the other requests. Dean appeared (again) and Iris was surprised because he should already know her situation. Dean said again that he was already Iris’s subject. Dean brought the last piece that Iris was missing.

Chapter 59

Dean said that Iris’s face looks horrible. He asked why Iris did not cry even after all of that. He asked why Iris wanted to be so strong. Iris showed her true emotions in front of Dean. She cried about Ed and how she liked him. She cried about how frustrated she was. She cried about how she was too inexperienced. She cried about how she was angry about her weakness. She was mad at herself for ruining her fief that she built up. She said that she did not want to bother the life of the people this time because of her. She didn’t want to show her weakness so she didn’t want to cry. She said that she wasn’t strong. Iris fell asleep after accepting Deans offer to take over for her. The next morning she had a refreshed appearance.

Chapter 60

Mina-san was called over to help Iris. Iris asked Mina-san to send rumors around. The plan worked out well as now many are curious about the truth though there were some doubts. Iris stated that she will be visiting the orphanage for the kids that prepared something for her. Getting on the carriage, Iris heads to the newly built church.
