Chapter 51
Iris was attacked as she headed back. She finally realized that this was another world. It was unknown if the attackers attacked her because of riches or an assassination attempt because of her position.
Chapter 52
Iris finally headed back unharmed. Sebas and the other servants were outside to greet her. After her shower, she went to bed shaking. She finally was alone and showed her fear to the possibility of dying. She got up early in the morning and took a shower. Reimei came over crying saying that she was worried. She recalled the memories of the time when she got her engagement annulled by Ed-sama. Sebas called Iris to finish the mountain of documents that piled up because of her long journey. Dean entered the scene. Iris thanked Dean for helping her with the documents when she was gone. Dean seems to be worried for Iris after hearing that she was attacked on her way back. —more money stuff/political stuff/ fief stuff that she asked Dean about since she wasn’t here— Ryal entered finally and Iris asked Dean to leave since the things they are going to talk about is top secret even to Dean. Dean leaves the stage.
Chapter 53
They discussed the attack. Then they talked about the 2nd prince’s faction and the queen. With Melodia talked about production of coffee, some type of sweets, and sweets that go with coffee. Iris doesn’t feel anything at her home since she was reincarnated when the game ended. Another knock on the door after Melodia went back to work.
Chapter 54
Dean came back in. Dean told her that the orphan wanted to greet her and started a celebration. Iris said she doesn’t want to put the children in danger. Dean told Iris that she seems to be scared and trembling with fear. (I think Dean is trying to make Iris go with him for a break.) Iris then questioned Dean why he wanted to tell her about the orphanage. Dean asked Iris to trust him even if it isn’t like the ones she took care of her. Dean said that he is already hers. Iris blushed because she was always the one asking this confession-like sentence. When said back, she was a bit flustered. Dean left the room and Iris sat there dazed. (Nah, Dean is just subtly flirting with Iris. Confess already gosh! You are making us wait too long!)
Chapter 55
2 weeks after coming back to the fief. The documents lessened and she returned to normal, less hectic days. Iris remembered the words of Dean. She then decided to check the information gathered by her father. —Discussing with Reimei about more complicated stuff regarding Yuri and her mother who was from the castle. Yuri’s actions might be affected by the mother— As they were discussing, the doors were flung open. Sebas and Tanya’s faces were panicking which was rarely seem so Iris and Reimei became serious.
